Aashiana Rehab Centre, Mulanthuruthy near cochin is envisaged as a dedicated center for rehabilitating people in wheel chairs who are referred to as paraplegics. One of our objectives is to help them to be productive and overcome their limitations through planned interventions. The center is functional under the worshipful Chairmanship of His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Athanasius (Bishop, Member of the Synod of Malankara Orthodox Church) and Mr. Thomas George Muthoot, Director, Muthoot Pappachan Group is the Managing Trustee. We offer comprehensive rehabilitation training to the patients; helping them return to their highest possible level of physical and psychological functioning, so as to become a contributing member . Once admitted the patients are psychologically supported in building up self-confidence and trained/guided on how to overcome their difficulties and become productive. In essence, the rehab centre aims to become a hope for the hopeless.
